Nisanur Hekimoğlu, as a legal expert at the Investment Office of the Republic of Türkiye, successfully completed the Investor-State Mediator Training organized by ICSID, ECT, and CEDR between March 12-16, 2022. This intensive three-day program provided comprehensive training on the theory, process, and essential skills required for mediating investor-state disputes.
The training addressed the growing role of mediation in resolving investment disputes, particularly in light of recent global developments such as the ICSID Investor-State Mediation Rules, the increasing inclusion of mediation provisions in investment treaties, and the entry into force of the Singapore Convention on Mediation in 2020.
